Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our iconic French glassware.
What makes Duralex tempered glass different from regular glass?
Duralex glass is manufactured through a heating and rapid-cooling process known as tempering. This makes our glassware 2.5 times stronger than standard glass and resistant to thermal shock, allowing it to move safely from the freezer to the microwave.
Is Duralex glassware dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, all Duralex products are 100% recyclable, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and freezer safe. Our tempered glass is non-porous and does not absorb liquids, colors, or flavors.
What is your shipping policy within the United States?
We offer standard shipping across the contiguous United States. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery location.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Only items purchased directly through the Duralex USA Official Site are eligible for return through our online portal.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
While our tempered glass is extremely durable, breakage can occur during transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged items and packaging for a replacement or refund.
Where is Duralex glassware manufactured?
Duralex has been proudly manufactured in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France, since 1945. We are the original pioneers of the tempered glass process.
